Bird house runs

Four spots on Fossil Island take a bird house each: build it from logs and a clockwork, fill it with seeds, and about 50 minutes later it is full of birds. Emptying it gives Hunter XP, feathers and, more and more often as your Hunter level and the bird house get better, bird nests with seeds and rings inside. The clockwork comes back every time, so a run costs four logs and the seeds. Nest chances from the OSRS Wiki, as they stand since the August 2026 update.
